Numbers, not adjectives.

Every figure below comes from a real account and is shown to you in full on a call: the actual data, not a slide about it. Client names are shared where clients have agreed; the numbers are exact either way.

Endpoint figures are from the real accounts; curve shapes are illustrative.

The laser-cutting workshop

Same budget, rebuilt account. Cost per lead fell from R3,333 to R650, a 14.2× improvement in lead volume for the same monthly spend. The difference was structure: cutting the search terms that never buy, funding the ones that do.

8×the leads, spend unchanged for 24 months

The solar installer

Monthly ad spend held flat for two years while monthly leads grew eightfold. No budget increase. The work was structural: a negative-keyword wall, every contact channel measured (including WhatsApp), and relentless pruning.

3.3×return on ad spend, ten months

The specialty and flower shop

Ten months on the account: R77,491 of ad spend, R258,368 in sales tracked back to the ads. September, the month before I took over, sat level with the same month a year earlier. From October the two years separate, and they never meet again.

The visibility rebuild

A site rebuilt around what buyers actually search. Technical repairs, query-led pages, honest content. Organic traffic more than quadrupled, and unlike ads, that traffic keeps arriving without a media budget.

7 daysfrom launch to #1 on Google

The UK skin & laser clinic

A new landing page on a subdomain with no search history at all. Google indexed it within a day and placed it straight onto page one; seven days after launch it ranked first for the clinic’s money search, above competitors established for years. Every ad click carries its tracking ID through to the enquiry it produces.

Case study · United Kingdom

Same budget. Nearly double the enquiries, at half the cost each.

A counselling psychology practice in the United Kingdom, taken over from another agency. The account looked busy. Plenty of clicks, plenty of enquiries. The problem was who those enquiries were coming from.

Nearly £800 a year was going to people searching for an in-person therapist near them, at a practice that works primarily online. Another £643 went to child and adolescent searches, at a practice that only takes 16 and over. A further £1,229 went to 78 keywords that produced nothing at all in twelve months.

None of that was a budget problem. Every one of those enquiries arrived, got counted as a win, and wasted the practice’s time, because the account was buying attention instead of buying the right patient.

Rebuilt around who the practice can actually help: fewer clicks, more enquiries, and the cost of each one halved, on 4% less money than the year before.

Measured like for like: the final twelve months under the previous agency against the most recent twelve under mine, same website, same enquiry form counted both times. Figures in pounds, taken from the accounts themselves. Named on a call, with the screens open.

Google’s AI answers, quoting my clients.

The newest kind of result: when Google’s AI writes the answer, my clients are in it. AI answers vary by searcher and location, so I claim only what I saw, and every claim links to the screenshot that proves it. This is what AI readiness buys.

01

The Good Earth · water-saving sanitaryware

Search “water saving toilets” or “water saving urinal”: Google’s AI answer lists their site among its sources, on the two searches their buyers actually make. PageSpeed that same morning: Performance 96, SEO 100, Agentic Browsing 3/3.

02

FactorySmart · industrial laser machinery

Google’s AI writes the company name into the answer itself and recommends them as a dealer, on two separate product lines. A buyer who never clicks a single result still reads “FactorySmart”.

03

Instacom · push-to-talk communications

For “push to talk solutions”, Google’s AI names the national carrier, Vodacom, and the specialist it recommends beside them: Instacom. The benefits list in that answer is drawn from Instacom’s own pages.
